On Tuesday, October 23rd, Apple released yet another product – the iPad Mini. While many critics have given this particular tablet idea some bad remarks, there are many Apple fans out there waiting to get their hands on it. Should you buy the iPad Mini? Whether you own the latest iPad, all three or maybe you don’t own one at all, here are five reasons you may want to consider getting the Mini.
#1 Very Affordable for Apple Products
For a gadget created by Apple, the iPad Mini starts at just $349. Compared to all other models, you’ll easily have to dish out more than $450 for an iPad that is slightly larger. Yes, I know $349 may be a tough amount to spare with, but if you’ve been in the market to get a tablet and you enjoy Apple products, you may want to put this on your wish list. Keep in mind that if you’re not an Apple fan, there are many other options such as the Kindle Fire, Nexus 7 and Nook.
#2 The Apps
Countless critics will tell you that iTunes is the way to go when you want to download apps. While the Google Play Store does offer a wide variety (and yes they are growing,) the App Store just can’t compare. Using the price point above, if you want to get your hands on the App Store, you will find yourself dishing out either $400 for a new iPad or at least $200 for a new iPhone with a 2-year contract. If you want something that can access the apps and has no strings attached, you may be pleasantly surprised with this choice.
#3 Faster and Lighter
#4 Flexible
If you’re the type that needs Internet connectivity for work, you’re going to find this table to be the right size. As you’re probably already familiar with the iPad and iPhone, you’ve realized that one is quite large while the other isn’t big enough. The Mini breaks the barrier and is the perfect size for checking emails, having a face-to-face meeting and small enough to snap a picture or watch a video. Let’s not forget that it’s very easy to fit in your purse or in the palm of your hand.
#5 More Features
Unlike the older iPads, the newer Mini is going to have a longer battery life, it offers the latest hardware and it comes with the all new lightning connector. As you can see, the Mini is somewhat similar to the iPad 1, 2 and 3. If you’re thinking about picking a tablet up, you may want to keep this model in mind if you’re looking for value, speed and accessibility.
