Razer in CES 2012 – Razer, one of the most leading gaming peripherals manufacturers revealed 2 new products in CES 2012 this year. The first product is a new PC gaming concept tablet, named Project Fiona, and the other one is a new Razer Naga Hex Gaming Mouse (looks more like a simplified version of the popular Razer Naga at a glance).
The Razer Synapse 2.0, a cloud-based unified driver and peripherals management software has also been officially released out of Beta, making it avaialable for public to download. At the moment, Synapse 2.0 currently supports the Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming peripherals by Razer, the Razer Blade gaming laptop, Razer Naga HEX, and the Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse.
Project Fiona – Razer’s Gaming Tablet
Project Fiona Gaming Tablet is the latest Razer’s gaming concept design which is a tablet powered by Intel i7 processor, created purely for PC gaming. Most of us have been using tablets for playing games, but they are not games dedicated for PC. With a unique set of controls specifically for Project Fiona, the concept design delivers a unique and enjoyable gaming experience.
It’s more like a touch-screen tablet combined with the Razer Hydra attached to it. Whether this concept can be successful or not, only time will tell (depends on the prize factor, I guess). Apparently, according to the demo video I saw earlier today, you can attach your own gaming mouse and keyboard so you can make the best out of it.
The Razer’s Project Fiona PC Gaming Tablet will start shipping Q4 2012.
Razer Naga Hex
An all new gaming mouse from Razer, the Razer Naga Hex is designed for MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) / action RPG players. It’s inspired by the Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse, featuring 6 thumb buttons (far less than the Naga has), ergonomic shape, and interchangeable thumb rests.
The Razer Naga Hex will be available worldwide March 2012.
