The Cocoon Premium Sports earphones by Winplus Australasia do just that. With a variety of colors to choose from, long cables with sweat resistant materials, and deep sounding bass, you won’t be disappointed.

The Cocoon Premium Sports have a unique earhook design that I’ve never encountered before. Unlike most brands that do an over-the-ear design, Cocoon Premium Sports earhook actually fits on the ears, just above the ear canals. It holds the earphones steadily, yet without any discomfort to the ears, thanks to the soft rubber material. No matter what you do (walking, running, or jumping), the earphones don’t come off. The hook is also adjustable to ensure that perfect fit.
The packaging also comes with a variety of earbuds sizes and also a small clipper to clip the cables onto your shirt. It’s to ensure the cable stays in place and doesn’t hinder you while you are running, for example.
The Cocoon Premium Sports have a really good passive noise isolation once you find your perfect earbuds size. Plug them in, raise the volume, and you’ll be practically immersed in the music.
It also has a built-in microphone so you can have a chat with your buddies. Unfortunately, there are no volume controls to control the volume playback, but there is a universal button to answer calls and trigger Siri on the iPhones. Would be great if there is a user guide though, as there is no reference about the button anywhere in the packaging.
The cable is tangle-free and also sweat resistant. Plus, it has a length of 1.2 meter, which gives you plenty of flexibility and room to move.
Sound wise, the Cocoon Premium Sports earphones have a decent sound. You can definitely hear the bass thumping which is great for an exercise to keep your spirit up. The sound clarity is not bad too, certainly not what I’m expecting from a brand that I’ve not heard before.
Overall, the Cocoon Premium Sports earphones from Winplus Australasia have a good practical design, comfortable to wear, decent sound clarity and quality, and a great companion for your daily exercise.
The price? It’s only $14.99 (which surprises me, considering the quality of the earphones) and available at Aldi starting on 17th of January 2015 (click here to check the full catalogue).
