Dyson Hot is a heater but unfortunately Dyson Cool is not a portable air conditioner (as much as I want it to be!). It’s actually a newer, better version of the famous Dyson’s bladeless fan, the Dyson Air Multiplier, that I reviewed back in February 2010.
As good as the original Dyson fan is, its noise is probably one of the things that people complain about. This new model, however, is 75% quieter than the original and comes with a new look.
The all new Dyson Cool also comes with a handy remote like the Hot has, 10 airflow settings, and a sleep timer feature for up to 9 hours. The main highlight of the new model is the 75% quieter feature.
Similar to the no-dust-filter vacuum cleaner, it seems that to achieve a quieter Dyson fan is not as easy as it may sound.
Dyson has actually spent £40m and three years to research and develop the Dyson Cool. All that, is to make a single challenging improvement in a product. Will you be upgrading your Dyson Air Multiplier to the Dyson Cool? To find out why I love the Air Multiplier so much, make sure to check my personal review (link on the first paragraph).
Meanwhile, stay tuned while we wait for Dyson Cool to arrive in Australia and hopefully I can share my review to you all when that time comes.
