Razer Chroma – Razer is one of the most popular gaming peripherals company in the world. We’ve reviewed almost every keyboard, mouse, and headset that they have (check out some of the awesome ones like the Ouroboros, Kraken 7.1 Pro, and BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth).
While they have some funky and cool backlit keys and surfaces, Razer has just announced another surprise: Razer Chroma.
Razer Chroma opens up a new, endless possibilities in customising your Razer peripheral devices with more personalised colors in different surfaces and situations.
For example, one of the coolest things is being able to set every key on your keyboard to a different color, making it more elegant in a different way.
Don’t tell me you don’t get all up excited seeing the Razer BlackWidow Chroma shot below?
You can even turn the backlit of all keys off while having a few that work on a game on with different colors. It adds a significant amount to personalisation and usefulness in a game.
With the Chroma SDK, you can even have all your keys turn red when you are being shot at or when your base is being attacked. The possibilities are endless here, so we are waiting to see if game developers will take the bait and contribute.
At the moment, there seems to be only 3 Chroma supported devices: the BlackWidow Ultimate keyboard, DeathAdder mouse, and the Kraken 7.1 headset. I don’t blame them, however, as they are considered as Razer’s most popular products.
