JBL’s Latest Gaming Headsets: New Quantum Series Takes Console Gaming Up a Notch

JBL has just expanded their gaming lineup with some interesting additions to the Quantum Series. Building on their successful Quantum 910 and 610 Wireless models, they’re now introducing the Quantum 360X/P and 910X/P series – specifically engineered for Xbox and PlayStation gaming.

The standout feature has to be JBL’s QuantumSPATIAL 360 audio with head tracking in the 910X/P models. It’s designed to improve immersion but also to give you advantage in competitive gaming, especially when you need to pinpoint enemy locations. What’s clever is how JBL has optimised the virtualisation specifically for each console.

These new headsets also come with DualSOURCE connectivity – a practical feature that lets you stay connected to two devices simultaneously through 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth. If you’ve ever missed an important call while gaming, you’ll appreciate this addition.

The design aesthetic follows each console’s signature look – White and Blue for PlayStation lovers and Black and Green for Team Xbox. It’s not just about looks though – the 910X/P models pack active noise cancelling to keep you focused during intense gaming sessions.

For those wanting something a bit more versatile, the Quantum 360X/360P models offer some solid features without breaking the bank. You get up to 22 hours of battery life, and importantly, you can play while charging – no more suddenly going silent mid-raid because your headset died.

JBL’s also refreshed their broader gaming lineup with some interesting additions. The new Quantum 360 Wireless, compatible with PC, PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, comes equipped with JBL’s QuantumSURROUND and 40mm drivers. I particularly like the practical touches like the detachable memory foam ear cushions – essential for those marathon gaming sessions.

For the style-conscious gamers, the Quantum 100M2 now comes in four colours (Black, White, Purple, and Cyan), while Nintendo Switch fans get their own dedicated Quantum 100N with matching console colours. These models might be more basic, but they still pack JBL’s QuantumSound Signature technology for accurate audio reproduction.

What’s particularly useful is that the Quantum 360 Wireless now works with both the JBL Headphones app and QuantumEngine software, giving you proper control over EQ settings, microphone, and surround sound configurations.
