Kogan has just announced its own smart home products range called the Kogan SmarterHome. It is Kogan’s first time to enter the smart home products and obviously, the more players we have in the smart home market, the better, right?
At the moment, Kogan smart heaters are the only smart home products they are releasing upon this launch, but there are definitely more coming in the future like light bulbs, portable air conditioners, and more.
These two Kogan smart heaters are priced at quite a good price point of around $100. Kogan 1500W Panel Heater is priced at AU$99 and the 2000W Glass Panel Heater at AU$129.
They both look pretty sleek, minimalist, and smart with built-in Wi-Fi. With the new Kogan SmarterHome app, you can control these heaters with the tap of your fingers (and Kogan SmarterHome products in the future). For example, with the app, you can turn the heater on and off, set the temperatures, and even set a timer.
You can smartly set a condition to let the heater adjusts itself. For example, you may want to set yours to automatically turns itself on when it’s cold outside to maintain a comfortable temperature inside your home.
But of course, nothing is better than being able to turn the heater on while you are on your way home from work, and come into a nice, cozy house.
