OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro Review – Sound quality

OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro boasts 12.4mm Extra Large Drivers, ensuring an immersive sound experience. Whether you’re a Swiftie, or a K-pop lover, these earbuds deliver. I must say, the bass sounds great, I am truly impressed because I didn’t expect it from earbuds at this price point. As someone who appreciates various music genres, from Eminem to Taylor Swift, I find these earbuds impressive.

Please note that I didn’t test these earbuds with an OPPO phone; instead, I use Google Pixel 7 Pro, so I cannot say much about the Enco Master Equaliser app that is only available on OPPO phones. As far as I know, the Enco Master Equaliser offers three distinct sound profiles (Balanced, Bass, and Bold) for customising the audio profile to match your genre. Additionally, you can enjoy Dolby Atmos and Dirac Audio Tuner (allows personalised adjustments, adapting to your environment or content).

Furthermore, OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro features a dual-microphone system along with an AI Clear Call Algorithm. During phone calls, the dual-microphone system intelligently separates background noise, ensuring exceptionally clear human voices. Wind noise? Not a problem. During my phone calls, I certainly had clear conversations even though I was walking outside.

OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro Review – Comfort & Features

Are they comfortable?

Yes, during the review, I didn’t feel any discomfort wearing these earbuds as they are feather-light, only 4.3 grams each. I barely noticed when wearing them after a long listening session.

Plus, with an IP55 dust and water resistance rating, these earbuds can withstand workouts and unexpected rain showers. I would say that the OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro is perfectly suitable for daily jogging or commuting.

How are the controls?

The controls are pretty easy. Customisable touch inputs allow you to control playback with single, double, triple taps, or long presses. Adjust volume, skip tracks, or answer calls without reaching for your phone. And if you’re a gamer, you’ll appreciate the Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, ensuring a system-level 94ms low-latency playback.

How about the battery life?

According to the spec sheet, OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro’s battery is said to last for 8 hours, plus another 38 hours with a charging case.
