Razer’s new Kraken V3 X gaming headset takes a similar design approach to the Razer Kraken X, but this time, gets an upgraded audio drivers and Razer Chroma RGB.
The Kraken V3 X is powered by Razer TriForce 40mm drivers, whose patented audio driver design was first introduced in the Razer BlackShark V2 esports headset family. Make sure to check my review on the BlackShark V2 (or the wireless version, BlackShark V2 Pro) to find out how they sound and how good the audio positioning is.
Kraken V3 X also supports 7.1 surround sound, and is equipped with Razer HyperClear Cardioid Microphone for clarity in team communication.
But one of the most surprising specs is how lightweight the Kraken V3 X is at 285 grams (compared to the Kraken Ultimate‘s 390 grams I reviewed last time). The BlackShark V2 is only 262 grams though but they certainly have different design and specs, so make sure to compare them out yourselves.
Razer Kraken V3 X is available now for $114.95 AUD at Razer’s website and retailers around Australia.
