The original Razer Blade was 17″ and though it is already a beast in itself, some gamers may still think that it is too big to be carried around (despite the fact that it is thin and lightweight).
Razer announced a 14″ Razer Blade version today, which is thinner (or shorter) than a dime.
The 14″ Razer Blade is powered by the 4th Gen Intel processors (Haswell), 8GB DDR3, NVIDIA GTX 765M with 2 GB RAM, 128GB SSD (upgradeable to 256GB and 512GB), 3x USB 3.0 ports, and Windows 8 operating system.
The Blade, which Razer claims as the thinnest gaming notebook in the world, is a powerful machine and definitely ready for the next generation of games (it’s even more powerful than the desktop computer I’m currently using, which I call a gaming desktop – shame on me).
If you think that spec is not good enough, you can get the even bigger, badder version of Razer Blade, now called the Razer Blade Pro (previously the original 17″ Razer Blade). They have also revamped the specs of the Razer Blade Pro.
Unlike the 14″ Razer Blade, the Razer Blade Pro is 0.88 inches thin and weighs 6.5 pounds – but even these specs are amazing by far, compared to those bulkier gaming laptops.
Of course, you will have to pay a good amount of cash to get these beasts. The Razer Blade is priced at US$1,799 and Razer Blade Pro at US$2,299. Pre-order starts in June.
