When I travel, I usually bring with me the Zendure Passport III Travel Adaptor so I can use it to charge my gaming laptop, smartphone, and other gadgets at the same time. I also carry this practical and portable Apple Watch charger that I can plug into the Zendure adaptor. The problem is that the Zendure usually has to be plugged into a power socket not far from the ground.
This often forces me to charge all my devices on the floor (often beneath a desk) which I quite loathe. While I like my STM ChargeTree Swing, it’s not exactly compact enough that I want to carry it whenever I travel interstate or overseas.
However, a new product from STM named the ChargeTree Mag might just seal the deal. It’s a 3-in-1 charging stand designed to be portable so you can still charge with style and convenience, wherever you are.

The packaging includes a 1-metre USB-C to USB-C cable and thankfully, a 20W wall plug.
STM ChargeTree Mag Review – Design and Features

STM ChargeTree Mag is a vertical, 3-in-1 charger that sits nicely and aesthetically on a flat surface like your bedside table or work desk. The watch arm has the “swing” design that can show and hide its Apple Watch built-in charger – great for those who don’t have an Apple Watch yet but are planning to get one, or when you want to make your space look tidy when you’re not charging your watch.
When you’re at home, you can place the STM ChargeTree Mag on your bedside table to charge all your devices such as your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once. The phone charging pad works with MagSafe, and I like how strong the magnetic force is. The pad holds my iPhone 15 Pro firmly, which completely eliminates my anxiety about whether my iPhone is going to fall off while I sleep. According to STM, the maximum power output is 15W for the iPhone charger. There’s a small LED light underneath when you place the phone correctly and it starts charging successfully. But to be honest, there’s no way you can place your phone wrong here as it snaps right in when you get to the right spot.
The watch arm is similar, offering a nice and solid way to place my Apple Watch on it with ease, with a maximum of 3W power output.
As for the AirPods platform on the back, it delivers a maximum output of 5W with Qi wireless charging compatibility. You can also use this to charge non-AirPods devices (I don’t have one) like my SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds here as it supports Qi wireless charging.

So far, I’ve never encountered any issues when charging multiple devices at the same time on the STM ChargeTree Mag.
STM ChargeTree Mag Review – Portability
And should you need to travel for a few days or longer, fret not. The ChargeTree Mag is completely collapsible and foldable. It can be made completely flat so you can just chuck it into your backpack or luggage for easy travel. Sure, it’s not exactly super slim and compact, but it’s easy enough to be packed. This can definitely eliminate having to carry multiple, different chargers when you travel. Plus, it’s nice to be able to place all your charging gadgets next to a bedside table at your hotel or Airbnb.

The STM ChargeTree Mag is compatible with the iPhone 12 or later, and while I don’t have an iPhone Max with me to test, I’m 100% certain that the stand can hold the weight just fine.
STM ChargeTree Mag Review Conclusion
There’s not much else to say here but that is because the STM ChargeTree Mag is simple to use and everything just works to charge your devices at the same time. It’s a fantastic 3-in-1 charger for home use but also when you have to travel elsewhere as it can be folded completely flat and packed easily into your bags or luggage. You can also leave your smartphone, Apple Watch, and earphones chargers behind, and save the space for other things.

Overall, the STM ChargeTree Mag is an essential accessory for tech-savvy travellers who want to keep their Apple ecosystem charged with minimal fuss. Its foldable design, strong magnetic connection, and reliable charging capabilities make it worth considering.
STM ChargeTree Mag retails for A$169.95 and is available to purchase from STM Goods AU website. It comes in two colours (Black and White) to match your home design or decor.
