Viva iPad 2 Case is a sleek and colorful iPad 2 case – available in yellow, orange, red, blue, and pink (yes, the ladies can get a pink iPad 2 case, which is quite rare in the market somehow).
It offers protection from bumps and scratches with inner microfiber lining and good quality material.
The Viva iPad 2 case is quite stiff. However, the outer material is soft to the touch and padded to protect the iPad 2 within. The review sample that I have is the Blue version.
Place the iPad 2 in the case by pressing the corners to clip the iPad 2’s edges. The same principle also applies to whenever you want to open or close the case. Once clipped in, the iPad 2 stays sturdy inside and will not budge. What I like about the Viva iPad 2 case is that it doesn’t cover the whole iPad 2 body so you can still see the beauty of your semi-exposed device!
The case also leaves all the ports and jacks opened, so you can recharge your iPad 2 while it’s inside the case and have access to all of the buttons (including power and the volume controls).
The Viva case is a smart case – it wakes your iPad 2 automatically when you open the cover and puts the iPad 2 to sleep when you close it. It’s definitely better than the official Apple’s iPad 2 Smart Cover because the Viva also protects the back of the iPad 2.
You can also transform the case into a stand – to watch movies or even to type notes on a flat surface:
You can fold the case all the way to the back, which makes it easier to read e-magazines while you are lying on the bed. The case itself is not too heavy though definitely cannot be considered as a lightweight case. However, you do get the extra padding for protection in exchange. There are also some openings inside the case for a few business cards.
